Warhorn Ownership Transfer Into Overtime
Brian Moseley, the developer of Warhorn, a widely used game and gaming convention scheduling platform, began a search in April for someone to take Warhorn over. Moseley committed to keeping Warhorn operational through September 30 in the meantime.
A potential new owner was found in June, but not identified.
With the clock ticking down to the end of September, Moseley made another announcement on Warhorn’s public Discord server on the 29th:
hey all, it's been a while since the last update, but I can finally share some news - i've concluded an agreement to hand over warhorn to a new owner.
i can't speak to specifics yet, but i believe they will be making an announcement in the near future. this organization is not affiliated with any specific publisher and is equally supportive of any party that wants to use warhorn for any type of game (in accordance with the site's terms of service, of course).
i share this with you to alleviate any concerns about using warhorn for your upcoming events. i will work to minimize disruption to the service as we go through this transition.

Under further prompting, Moseley said an announcement would probably come “in the first half of october”.
The gaming world continues to wait nervously for the reveal of the new owner.
In Brief
The trial of Thomas Dunbar and Andrew Giaume for allegedly stealing a pallet of Magic: the Gathering cards at Gen Con last year has been rescheduled once again, to November 20. Giaume’s pretrial hearing has been cancelled; Dunbar’s is scheduled for November 7.
Victoria Price (representing Ghost of Honor Vincent Price) will not be able to attend OryCon 44 (Portland, Oregon, October 18-20) due to the aftereffects of Hurricane Helene.
Glyn Dillon will not be able to attend Octocon 2024 (Dublin, Ireland, October 5-6) due to scheduling issues.
Cincinnati Comic Expo (Sharonville, Ohio, October 18-20) has added Ron Perlman, Lee Majors, Margaret Kerry, and Blayne Weaver.
LVL UP Expo (Las Vegas, Nevada, April 25-27) has added Jen Taylor, Stephanie Sheh, Kyle Hebert, Steve Downes, Cristina Vee, Michelle Ruff, Cherami Leigh, Johnny Yong Bosch, Bennett Abara, and Neil Kaplan.
