Guest Bites Another Guest at Washington State Summer Con
Alicia Hannah-Kim and Martin Kove of Cobra Kai were both guests at Washington State Summer Con the weekend before last, when Kove allegedly bit Kim out of the blue.
According to an informational police report obtained by PEOPLE, the stars were at Summer Con in Washington on Sunday, June 22, when the incident occurred. Hannah-Kim, 37, claims that she arrived to meet the cast at their booth and was met with an unprovoked attack when she tapped Kove, 78, on the shoulder to greet him.
“Martin Kove suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood, and she yelled out in pain,” the documents allege. “Once Martin Kove finished biting her arm, he grabbed her arm again and began kissing it where he had bit her.”
After a further confrontation, Hannah-Kim declined to press charges, but asked for the informational report to be filed. Kove was escorted out of the convention at the request of a Cobra Kai producer who was also present.
Kove later apologized in a statement provided to Deadline. SMOF News cannot find any reports of Kove being disinvited from other conventions.
